Orthoptera is a group of insects, which includes grasshoppers, crickets, locust and relatives of animals. They are teething mouth parts, bouncing back legs and males drawn from stridulous sounds. Currently the group is often divided into two, one of which is probably not a greater relationship. The first of these is a group of Ensifera, whose representatives are characterized by long antennae, terebra prominent in females, auditory bodies in front shins and male making sounds by rubbing the front pair of wings for himself (the alar stridulation). By contrast, representatives of the group Caelifera antennae are usually short and inconspicuous terebra. Auditory organs are located on the sides of the front Articles stridulate male buttocks and thigh by rubbing their hind legs on the wing veins (called femoroalar stridulace).
Orthoptera are meadow, mostly thermophilous animals (Bridge), but some also live in the ground (such as crickets and their related mole cricket). They are often prey (eg feeding on other insects), some herbivore (eg grasshopper) may, in its migrant part of its life cycle to commit great damage in agriculture. In the Czech Republic live about 90 kinds of Orthoptera, some originally southeuropeaní (eg horse, a greenhouse, domestic cricket), but only in the vicinity of human habitations, where the warmer climate.
